*BLSDC Monthly Dance:* BLSDC has its regular monthly dance on the 2nd Saturday of each month. The dance is held at the Sports West Athletic Club, (775) 348-6666, located at 1575 South Virginia Street, Reno. Cost for the dance is $7 for members; $10 for non-members. Members from other clubs can get in for $7 ONLY if they show a current membership card. A WCS Intermediate lesson usually starts at 7pm, dance starts at 8pm. Free Beginning lesson starts at 7pm. Directions: Take I80 East or I80 West to Reno. *From I-80 EAST or West:* Take US-395 South to the Plumb/Villanova Exit. At the end of the off ramp cross over Villanova and go to the next light which is Plumb Lane. Turn right. Go approx 1.5 miles to South Virginia Street, turn right, go thru 2 stop lights and look for a small strip mall on your left. Proceed to the building at the rear of the parking lot - Sports West - park anywhere. You can also turn left on Mt Rose Street (at the next light) and take the next driveway into the rear of the shopping plaza. From South Lake Tahoe Area/US-50: Take US-50 toward Carson City. When you hit US-395 turn left (northbound), you'll be on the south end of Carson City. Follow the instructions for Carson City below. From Carson City: Take US-50 north toward Reno. Take the Plumb Ave exit and turn left onto Plumb at the end of the offramp. Go approx 1.5 miles to South Virginia Street, turn right, go thru 2 stop lights and look for a small strip mall, turn into the parking lot and proceed to the building at the rear of the parking lot - Sports West - park anywhere. You can also turn left on Mt Rose Street (at the next light) and take the next driveway into the rear of the shopping plaza.
