2. My friend Meeshi is putting on an amazing workshop this
weekend in San Diego with the Swedish dance troupe Shout
And Feel It. Don't miss this!
Hey dancers,
I'm proud to announce that San Diego will be the first
stop for the Swedish Swing Troupe, Shout 'N' Feel It, on
their 2007 North American Tour. Led by 1997 World Lindy
Hop Champions, Kenneth and Helena Norbelie,
Shout 'N' Feel It is one of the world's top Lindy
performance troupes, and I'm very excited to have two of
my first Lindy mentors teach and perform here in San Diego
for the first time ever.
On Sat.
July 14th, Kenneth, Helena and their complete
12-person troupe teach classes at the Firehouse from
12-5:30p. The first two classes will be tracked into
two levels (Beg/Int & Adv), while the final two classes
will be int. level electives. Class sizes will be limited,
so please register early. Individual classes will not be
sold separately. After the workshop, the whole troupe
heads on over to the Hep Spot dance to perform from
8:15-9p -- $20/show+dance, $15/dance only (see
http://www.2plyswing.com).

ABOUT
KENNETH & HELENA: Kenneth and Helena are fantastic
dancers and immensely popular instructors. They have been
Lindy Hopping together since 1988. As top competitors,
their many wins include the 1994 Swedish Championship and
the 1997 World Lindy Hop Championship. They are founding
members of the Swedish Swing Society and have taught at
major events throughout Sweden, the U.S. and Europe.
Kenneth and Helena are known for integrating classic Lindy
Hop into the ever-changing trends in social dancing. Their
classes emphasize connection, technique and musicality.
Besides being great teachers and dancers, they are two of
the nicest people you will ever meet. Come learn from the
best!
ABOUT SHOUT
'N' FEEL IT: Shout ’n' Feel It has completed six
national performance tours in the U.S. (1998, 1999, 2000,
2002, 2004 & 2005) including touted performances at Swing
Camp Catalina on Catalina Island and at the Kennedy Center
in Washington D.C. The group has a lot of experience
teaching swing dance conducting swing workshops all across
the U. S. and Europe. This is their 1st time ever
performing and teaching in San Diego. San Diego
dancers, don't miss it!
