Feel free to pass this e-news along to your dancing friends... Hello West Coast Swing Dancers... Below are events that cover the states of California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, New Mexico, Arizona & Hawaii, see below and Dancin' Index page. If you know of an event and it isn't listed here or on my website, please advise the event coordinator to send me the applicable information (see Event Template) and I'll include it herein, as well as post it on wcs-dancer.com website. See the end of this message for more details. Due to time constraints (mine) and the constant battle of automated spam filters and ISP's (e.g. AOL and Yahoo) arbitrarily blocking e-mail to multiple addresses, I have discontinued transmitting this page out via e-mail. I will continue to post dance events as time allows. Best is to bookmark your favorite page and follow the links to activities/events in your area, or if traveling, review the activities in the area of your destination. Dancing this Week/Month: There is so much WCS activity that I cannot post it all. Be sure to check all of the links below frequently... I try to post dancin' stuff as it comes in. The purpose of this website is to have a place where out-of-towners can find places to West Coast Swing dance when they travel to any spot on the West Coast and a couple of states inland. Promoters, Instructors, Dance Studios who put on WCS events are well advised to send me their event info as far in advance as possible so travelers can plan to attend. A suggested template containing the event info needed is posted at http://www.wcs-dancer.com/EventTemplate.html If you have a swing event happening anywhere in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, New Mexico, Arizona, or Hawaii (other states ok too), or if you know a good spot to dance in your Local area, and would like the info about it posted on http://www.wcs-dancer.com website, e-mail me what you would like published and I'll publish it. I reserve the right to edit the material as I deem appropriate, however, most of the time what you write is what gets published. Deadline for this newsletter is Monday night of the week of the event. I prefer to receive it sometime during the weekend before or earlier so I have time to update the website with your info, as well as write this thing up.. Timing is everything... Sending me your info the day of, or the day before your event is useless... The volume of e-mail I receive requires several hours of work to post so the more time, in advance, of your event to send it to me the better. |
